The worst is over

We had the creepiest thing happen the other night at work. We have a weather station that records the temperature and wind direction. The temp was recorded as high as 41C that day, but by the time we got out for night shift it had cooled to 24C. All of a sudden, 1:00am rolls around, and we start getting high temp alarms on some of our equipment. We check the weather station, and it's reading a temp of 32C. The temperature had climbed eight degrees in a matter of 15 seconds, at one in the morning!! It hovered around 32 for another couple minutes, then cooled down to 22 again within forty seconds. Wierd.
