Yesterday when I pulled into the Co-op parking lot, the vehicles alarm across from me was going off. Inside, there was about a 5 year old kid, balling, trying to make it stop. I went over to try and get him to let me in so I could help him, but he wouldn't open the door. Instead, he climbed into the back seat and peeked over at me, still crying. Luckily, when I went in the store to aimlessly search for his mom, she was just coming out. It was good to see that kids are trained not to open the door for strangers, but at the same time I couldn't help but feel a little rejected. Oh well, just another experience from good ol' Weybs.
